Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope you are having a wonderful time with your friends and family!

This week I will doing things a little bit different. Over the last few weeks I have had the chance to reflect on the first 10 episodes of the podcast and a big theme over the last year in the allergy community.

Many of us have found out about our allergies through trial and error. Many of you have been thrown into the world of allergies. Itā€™s a scary time. Allergies can be life threatening or seriously debilitating and this can shock and scare the life out of you.

So how do you manage this fear? How do you stop fear from ruining your life? From stopping your from functioning?

In this episode I talk about how I have managed my fear of living with an allergy. I talk about the time I ended up in hospital and how I got over my fear of food with my 5 Actions to Tame Fear.

My 5 Simple Steps to Taming Allergy Fears:

  1. Recognise what you don’t know
  2. Trust in yourself
  3. Keep learning
  4. Fake it till you make it
  5. Celebrate your allergy wins

Next weeks episode! I will be talking to my Mum about how she found out I was allergic to nutsā€¦It was through trial and error, an error in this case.
